Week of September 20 Schedule

Monday, September 20th - Rehearsal from 6:00 to 8:30.

Wednesday, September 22nd - Rehearsal from 6:00 to 8:30.

Friday, September 24th - Senior Night Football Game

• Arrive at 5:30 SILVER BELLS NEED TO BE POLISHED
• Seniors need to get their flower pin from Friends of Music.  Please complete the Senior Night Info doc ASAP, please don't wait until Friday.
• 6:40 Watch Chichester perform Pre-Game before the football and cheerleaders do their senior recognition.
• Band is playing the National Anthem
• Guard and Pit will leave at the beginning of the 2nd Quarter.  The rest of the band will leave for warm up no later than 10 minutes remaining (If Kennett is either close to scoring or on defense, we will stick around and not leave the team hanging)
• The band seniors will be recognized after our halftime performance.  We need to be as efficient as possible when setting up.  We will need parents to help with the pit equipment.
• 3rd Quarter: Eat Chicken... (pit needs to load for the competition on Saturday)
• 4th Quarter: "Hey Song"  You are expected to be READY TO PLAY by the beginning of the 4th quarter not running from the snack shack...
• Estimated End: 9:45.
  

Saturday, September 25th: - Competition at Ridley High School

• YOU NEED YOUR SPARKLE STRETCHWEAR (it's the first time we are using this part of the uniform, please don't forget it)
• 12:00 Rehearsal on DO Field (it's the field at the bottom of the hill near East South Street)
  • This is also why the pit needs to load Friday night.  The pit will be unloading in the lower lot to participate in the rehearsal on the DO field.  We WILL NOT be using the speakers or mixer on the DO field.
• 2:00 EPL (PACK > LOAD > EAT)
• 2:45 Leave for Ridley
• 3:45 Arrive at Ridley
• 4:15 Warm-Up on Practice Field C
• 5:30 Gate (We go on next)
• 5:45 Performance
• 9:30 Awards (wait... 9:30!! What do we do for 4 hours.  Answer: watch other bands, visit the snack shack, etc.)
• Depart from Ridley approximately 11:00 (the directors and caption heads will be at critique, we will leave when we are finished)
• 11:45 Arrive at Kennett High School
  • Props and Guard need to unload the box truck in the stadium when we return to KHS.
