We will be holding auditions for 2018 drum majors on Monday, June 4th at 6:00 PM in the KHS Band Room.

If you would like to audition, please send a brief email to Mr. Romano AND Mrs. Mancuso stating that you would like to apply to be drum major.  In that email, highlight some of the skills you think you possess that would be relevant and what you would bring to the position.

Music and scores are now on the website.  Please download, print, and prepare to conduct the opener - from measure 1 to 120.

Memorial Day Parade 5/28
8:00 AM - Report to KHS
9:30 AM - Line Up for parade.
10:00 AM - Step-off from KHS
11:00 AM - approx - finish parade at cemeteries on rt. 82 across from KAU ball fields
11:05 AM - Snack - provided by FoM
11:45 AM - approx - play National Anthem with Unionville High School Band
12:15 PM - approx - arrive back at KHS by bus

"Uniform" for the parade is Blue Kennett Marching band shirt (from any year.)  If you are a new member and don't have a member shirt, you can go with any Kennett blue t-shirt.  Shorts are appropriate as are sunglasses and hats.  Please wear athletic shoes.  Even if the sun isn't out and it is just hazy, you may want sunscreen.

Weather is still a big question mark for Monday.  Historically a decision is made by 6:00 AM whether or not the parade is a go.  Please stay tuned for updates.

Finally there is NO drumline practice this Thursday, 5/24.

Monday 5/21 and Wednesday 5/23 - Spring Training for new members at KHS from 6:00 to 8:00.

Monday 5/28 - Memorial Day Parade.  Please stay tuned for plans regarding weather.
