We *WILL NOT* be performing the show Friday night.  Instead, the full band is attending and we are playing stand tunes all night.  Full uniform for the hornline/drumline/pit.  Guard - Band shirts.  We will be taking ONLY the white box truck.  We will still require chaperone help for this trip but we won't need a pit crew or on field/off field help.

Homecoming Game
Pep Rally - We have been asked to provide some exit music.  Different from past years, grab your instrument and head up to the stands with everyone else.  No early dismissal for band.

5:00 PM - Report - props to stadium, preset home stands, uniforms, etc...
5:40 PM - Parking lot in uniform to set parade block (Sweet Caroline for parade.)  Guard - stay tuned for uniform decision
6:00 PM - Parade Step off
6:20 PM - Parade Ends
6:35 PM - To stadium - "warm-up" - preview some new stand tunes.  Finish anything else we need to do
6:50 PM - In home stands
6:57 PM - KHS plays Anthem
7:00 Kick off
Halftime - Instinct!
Post show - pit moves equipment, guard leaves the field, hornline/drumline stay in an arc behind the homecoming court for photo ops.  PARENT HELP NEEDED!!!!  We really need some extra hands to help get the props off the field at this time.

***Sun Valley is bringing their full band but are not performing pre-game.  They are doing big pep-band stuff.

9:45 PM - approx arrival back to KHS

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not park in the last few bus lanes or in front of the garages.  We all want to go home at the end of the night, but we still need to unload some equipment and unload the members from the buses.  If cars are parked, or parents or waiting in cars, in the last few lanes the buses and trailers can't do what we need to do and we wind up making a long day even longer.  Odds are we will put out cones, but there is never a guarantee they will stay there.

The district requires an Activity Fee for all athletes and the marching band to cover transportation costs.

If you still need to submit your Activity Fee, please submit a check for $50 made out to KCSD.  (NOT Friends of Music!)

Some of you may have enough in your student accounts to cover this.  If you want to pay that way, please contact the FoM treasurer to request the transfer.

Rehearsal and Mushroom Parade
3:15 - 4:45 - Rehearsal in stadium for parade and light drill review.
4:45 - 5:30 - Dinner - Pizza, water, chips provided by FoM.
5:30 - board buses for parade
6:00 - Mushroom Parade in KSQ
6:30 - approx return to KHS
6:30 - 8:00 rehearsal in stadium

We are not attending the football game due to the challenges of traveling in and out of town with the parade.
