Week 12 (of 13)

Finals week and lots going on.  Also, what's with the "of 13" business, I thought we were done after this week...  Well, you are almost finished.  We have the Powerpuff Football Game on Monday (11/6) and Festivus on Wednesday (11/8).  After Festivus the season is officially over.  Our first off-season performance is the Light Parade on Saturday, November 25th.  You are required to attend if you are in town.

Agenda for Week 12
Monday, October 30th
Rehearsal in Kennett Stadium from 6:00-8:30

Tuesday, October 31st (yes, Halloween)
THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, however if you commit to it, you HAVE TO SHOW UP.
Bayard Estates Parade (5:30-6:00)
This parade is Friends of Music fundraising opportunity.  We parade for 10 minutes and play pep band tunes for 10 minutes.  The best part is that you get to be in costume!  Please be sure you can still perform.
5:15-5:30 Report Time (address 109 Foothill Drive, Kennett Square (transportation will not be provided) 
5:30 Report to starting location and play a couple of Pep Band tunes.
5:40 Parade
5:50 Play a couple of tunes at the end of the route (which is also the beginning)
6:00 Go home (or Trick-or-Treat)

Wednesday, November 1st
Final Rehearsal in Kennett Stadium
6:00 Stretch and Warm Up
6:20 Rehearse A and and J-K-L
7:00 Show Prep (time to dress and prepare for the Friends and Family Performance)
8:00 Report to the field for photo opportunities in uniform with props

• Parents are encouraged to take pictures, please be back in your seat for the performance at 8:20

Saturday, November 4th
Cavalcade of Bands Finals at Hatboro-Horsham High School
899 Horsham Rd, Horsham, PA 19044
12:00 Rehearsal in the stadium
2:00 EPL
3:30 Buses Depart for Hatboro Horsham
5:00 Arrive at Hatboro (restrooms, unload equipment, unload props, prestage props, etc)
5:30 Warmup
6:45 Depart for Gate
7:00 Arrive at Gate (parent volunteers need to meet us at the gate at 7:00)
7:15 Final Performance of "Notes from the Underground"
8:00 Return to the stadium
8:45 Rowan University Performance
9:00 Awards
9:30(ish) Depart
11:00 Arrive at KHS
11:30 Dismiss (we need to collect uniforms, properly store electronics and marching percussion, and clean for one last time)
