Finals Week (possibly Playoff Football), Equipment Drop-off and Cleanup, Festivus

Congratulations Kennett Marching Band on your 1st Place finish this weekend.  Lots to do very little time.

Monday, November 7th
- Rehearsal from 6:00 to 8:30

Wednesday, November 9th
- EXTENDED REHEARSAL 6:00 to 9:00.  We will have two final runs of the show in the Kennett stadium the first run is going to be at 8:25.  Our last run will be at 8:40.  The lights in the stadium go out at 8:40, if you are a parent or family member and you want to experience the final performances, please be in the stadium by 8:15/8:20.  Please note that the lights will shut off before the final performance.  Please bring a flashlight or headlamp for AFTER the final performance.

Friday, November 11th: Playoff Football at Rustin High School
- WEATHER PERMITTING: currently we have 91% chance of rain with a high of near 70 and a low of 62.  If the weather does not improve, we will not be attending this football game as a band.  I need everyone healthy for Saturday and it's supposed to pour.

Monday, November 14th:  Immediately after school to approximately 5:00pm.
- Uniform Drop-Off and Marching Band Cleanup.  We will not be using the uniforms for the rest of the season, even if we advance in the playoffs.  Finals will be the last performance of "Mercury Rising".  You are expected to return all of your marching band issued equipment, uniform parts, and foul weather gear on Monday, November 14th.  Show shirts, shoes, and the colorguard uniforms are yours to keep.  Everything else needs to be returned.  Any missing equipment will result in a referral being submitted to KHS administration.  If you are participating in the Tree Lighting Parade on November 25th, you can keep you instrument.  If you are not, you must return your marching band instrument as well.  All equipment will be sent out to Music and Arts for repair and adjustments in the off season.
- After inventory: is anyone interested in wiffleball, kickball, or ultimate frisbee lol

Wednesday, November 16th: Festivus
When: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Where: KENNETT MIDDLE SCHOOL cafeteria

This was a lot, I only have a few more left to send.  Thanks for all of our help, time, and patience this season.  This was my first time truly running the program and I couldn't have done it without all of our help.
