CONT= The actual show that is programed and presented
ACHV= Achievement, how well is the show being performed
Music Proficiency (200 points)
- How are you performing the parts?
- How challenging are the parts?
Ensemble Music (200 points)
- How well are you playing the parts together
- Front to back rhythmic alignment
- Intonation and tuning
Visual
- Does the visual program make sense from a
purely movement perspective.
- Feet and basics program integration
- Multiple responsibilities (body going one way
while something else is doing something else. Typically
visuals in hornline and use of equipment in the color guard.
- Form spacing, arrival, and transitions
Music Effect
- Does the music fit the show?
- Does the judge see what they are hearing?
- Does the music match the character/role playing?
- Does the music match the colors being represented
on the field?
- Does the show make connection with the audience?
Visual Effect
- Do the props, silks, equipment, judge blockers, screens
etc. match the music being heard?
- Do visuals intentionally line up with musical moments?
- Does the color guard work reflect the musical phrases?
- Does the drill and costuming fit the show theme?
Color Guard
- Subcaption, does not contribute to overall score
- Specifically feedback for color guard ONLY
Percussion
- Subcaption, does not contribute to overall score
- Specific feedback for Front Ensemble and Drumline ONLY
