Monday, August 26th Rehearsal at Kennett High School, 6:00-8:30 in the stadium - Report around 5:45pm to be on the field by 6:00pm Wednesday, August 28th Rehearsal 6:00-8:30 in the stadium Friday, August 30th Rehearsal and Parent Preview in the stadium - Rehearsal from 6:00-8:00 - Preview at 8:10 (we will only be performing Part 1 and Part 2 and we will not be in uniform) Monday (8/19)

Week 2 of Camp requires a little bit of flexibility, as mentioned in the handbook. We can only teach when staff are available and I cannot be available until after 3:30 every day. With this being said, some of you will need to come in, and some of you will not. We will not have a dinner break this and the evening block starts at 5:30.
Monday, August 19th Report time for EVERYONE will be 5:30 - Stretch and Basics 6:15 Review in Cohorts - Color Guard on Field 2 with Natalie, Abby, and Kassie - Hornline and Drumline on Field 1 Reviewing Part 2 Drill, transitioning to Part 1 moving and playing - Front Ensemble will remain in sectionals for the rehearsal due the slim chance of weather. You will remain in the small gym. 7:40 Run Part 1 with Drumline, Color Guard, and Hornline Tuesday, August 20th 1:00 Report Time - Hornline will work on music and/or drill with Francesca and Nick; you must be outside - Drumline will work with Tuk and Thomas under a tree on Part 1 and 2 music. 4:00 First Band Intramural, Ultimate Frisbee! - This will be Percussion vs. Hornline; if you wish to participate, front ensemble should report around 3:45 pm 4:45 Bagged Lunch Style Dinner (bring food, please stay on campus because it's a short break) 5:30 Stretch/Basics in Sectionals working on Part 2 - Hornline Field 1 (with MegVox) - Color Guard Field 2 - Drumline Field 3 (with Digamet) 7:00 Ensemble Part 1 and Part 2 with FULL BAND (Front Ensemble will need to move around 6:45) 7:40 Run Wednesday, August 21st 1:00 Report - Hornline with Francesca and Nick (Review moving and playing Part 1 and 2 on Field 1) - Color Guard with Natalie on Field 2 near a tree for breaks in the shade, 4:00 Dismissal Kennett HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE We are required to play for Open House on Wednesday, August 21st 5:00 Report to Kennett High School - Pep Band and Rahrah until 6:10 (if you are helping a club, you do not need to attend Pep Band) - Drumline and Sousaphones will need to make use they take their drum and harness home the night before, plan ahead. 6:15 Enjoy Open House or take the rest of the night off. Thursday, August 22nd 1:00 Report to KENNETT MIDDLE SCHOOL - Drumline will find a tree, work on music and later combined with Front Ensemble around 3:00. - Front Ensemble, lead by Sarah, will work through the show and combine with Drumline around 3:00, Ms. Clark should be arriving around 3:30 at the latest. 4:00 Band Intramurals Part 2 - Band Camp Baseball (a combination of tennis baseball and wiffleball) The teams will be TBD based on interest. 4:45 Dinner Break (the game will be concluded at a later date) 5:30 FULL BAND with Part 1 and Part 2 being the priority 7:40 Run (last sunset at KMS) Friday, August 23rd (This will be a very long day) 8:00am (you read that correctly) - Mr. Whisler and Nick working with hornline - Front Ensemble with Ms. Clark - Drumline with Mr. Tuk and Tommy working on music for Part 3 12:00 Lunch 12:45 Last block at KMS!! - Hornline with Mr. Whisler working on music and visuals - Drumline tracking and more basics with Tommy and Thomas - Front Ensemble with Ms. Clark - COLOR GUARD report and work with Abby until 3pm on Field 2 or in the Large Gym 2:50 Music Ensemble run to the end of Part 3 3:00 EPL (Eat, Pack, Load: not necessarily in that order) JOBS - Color Guard: Field 2 is clean, flags are collected and at the box truck, large gym is clean, Stanley is on the box truck. - Drumline: Racks and stands are packed, Field 3 is clean, drums without cases have a way to safely travel back to KHS. - Hornline: Field 1 is clean, the F Wing is clean (F103, F105, the hallway, and the bathrooms), instruments travel either on the box truck or you have to get it to KHS on your own. - Front Ensemble: Garden Entrance is clean, under the tree is clean, small gym is clean, everything is carefully loaded into the trailer - Drum Major: electronics are stored in the box truck, supervise the box truck loading process. Scrimmage vs. St. Mark's (Delaware) at KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL Report Time: 5:45pm - Unload at KHS report to stands for Pep Band Estimated End Time: 8:30pm Unfortunately, we will not have a Rookie Camp this year due to forecasted weather conditions. Reminder Drumline and Front Ensemble will be meeting at KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL
When you arrive at Kennett Middle School, here is a map! Please follow the traffic patterns. If you are arriving and PARKING, you can follow the blue route to your parking area. If you are dropping off a member, please follow the RED ROUTE to the door by the garden (red star), drop off at the star, follow the blue route to the exit. Thank you for your cooperation. Band camp is right around the corner, please check the website (www.kennettmarchingband.com/band-camp-checklist). You are required to have your payment submitted to FoM, shoes purchased, and uniform fitted. If you missed the uniforming fittings, you will be fitted on August 16th during Open House, if you miss Open House, you will not be permitted to perform for the teachers the following week.
