The KCSD Athletic Department is going cashless for entry this year. You have two options for admission: Option A: Purchase a ticket in advance https://kennett.hometownticketing.com/embed/all Option B: Scan the QR code and essentially use the same website list above later. I recommend purchasing the tickets in advance. Tickets are $5 per spectator. When the props are completed and we need assistance, Roadies will get a KCSD lanyard and enter free of charge. The game tonight vs. Upper Dublin will require all students, friends, parents, and family members to pay the $5 General Admission. The gate fee goes directly to the KCSD Athletic Department. Friends of Music volunteers will need to inquire with Mr. Harvey about admission for Chick-Fil-A and Spirit Wear sales. Andrew Whisler KHS Bands The Camp Schedule needs to change due to an adjustment to the Open House schedule by KHS Administration. This change was made last week and was not communicated to me until recently. With this being said, thank you for your patience.

Reminders -Please be sure to pay Friends of Music if you owe anything. All questions relating to account balances should be directed to Mrs. Haskins (amy_crozier@yahoo.com) -The KCSD Activity Fee must be paid by all KENNETT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. The KMS students do not need to pay the $50 fee because they are not registered for the class. The $50 fee should be made payable to Kennett High School with the memo line: KCSD Activity Fee. Cash is also accepted. YOU MUST PAY YOUR ACTIVITY FEE before the end of the first week of camp. Students who do not pay their activity fee before the end of the first week of camp will be referred to KHS administration. -Please check the list in the handbook and be sure you are prepared for the first day of camp. Every student needs a 64oz water jug, sunscreen, bug spray, a pencil, a hat, lunch, and a snack. You will have much better day if you arrive prepared. If you have something urgent, please use the direct messaging feature. Uniforms -We have ALL BUT ONE STUDENT FITTED!!!! Great job getting this done before camp!!! A special thank Mrs. Huber, Cory, and anyone else who helped! -Color Guard uniforms are ordered. We should have them by September 20th(ish). Delays are always possible. -The hoods are still TBD. This will be easier to coordinate when the season begins. We can come up with a design and make it happen by the middle of September. Not a lot of new information, just an update. First, thank you so much for your support. This week was a wild roller coaster and without the generosity of the Kennett Community, I would have lost my house. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. THE SHOW IS FINISHED!!!! We will be making minor adjustments to the video you are about to watch and there is a ton of choreography that will truly bring everything to life. The text throughout the video are the vocal cues. The Memorial Day Parade is our programs opportunity to give back to the Kennett Community. The parade is mandatory if you are a member of the 2022 Marching Band and in the area on May 29th. If you are a 2023 Rookie, you are welcome to join us. Percussion Rookies will be handing out water bottles to the marching members. The National Anthem performance with Unionville at Union Cemetary is a tradition that only goes back about 15 years. The performance is for the American Legion Wreath Laying Ceremony. Memorial Day a national holiday reserved to honor and celebrate those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This performance of our National Anthem is a wonderful way to end an amazing year and a terrific way to pay our respects. Greetings Marching Band Parents and Students, This is a friendly reminder that the Membership Agreement, Contact Information, and Financial Agreement Forms are all due on May 19th. Membership Agreement Contact Information Financial Agreement I attached the current balance of the student accounts for the Veteran Members (10th/11th/12th returning students). Veteran Members need to follow the directions very carefully. Please add of the total required items on the form and subtract the sum from your current account balance. If your balance covers the full amount, please be sure to type “Student Account” with the amount that you wish to use from your account.
